You just got a puppy right? Or maybe you are getting ready to buy one? Oh I hope you are! Puppies are so fun!

If you are reading this after you got a wee fur ball, you probably already bought tons of stuff for him or her. A crate, toys, treats, everything the Petco guy told you to get.

But now it’s everywhere, especially the loose treat bags, huh?

Here is a quick solution that looks great in the process.

(Be aware that some animals are allergic to wheat and other ingredients. Use caution)

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 c. Unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 Large egg
  • 1 1/2 Tbs. peanut butter
  • 2 2/3c. Flour
  • 1/2 c. Cornmeal
  • 1/2 c. Oats
  • 3/4 c. Shredded carrot
  • 1/4 c. Coconut¬† water

Preheat oven to 400 F

Combine all the ingredients together and mix well.

Flour a flat surface and place a small ball of the dough onto it. For an easy option, roll out the dough into a snake type shape (1/2 – 1” thick) and cut into one inch bites with a knife. The knife will kinda seal off the edge and give it a “finished look”

Place on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

Let cool before storing or feeding to your dog.
